The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma – Terms & Conditions and Statement of Understanding
1. Introduction
By enrolling in any programme offered through The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma (CoECT), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Acceptance is required before completing payment.
2. Statement of Understanding
I hereby affirm, to the best of my knowledge, that the information I have provided in this enrolment application is true and complete. I agree to notify the Course Leader or my allocated Learning Support Tutor at The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma in a timely manner if any of the information provided in this application changes. I also understand that The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma, or representatives acting on its behalf, may contact me or those persons listed as referees or additional contacts to obtain further information where required.
3. Study Commitment
I understand that, in order to obtain the qualification, I am expected to engage fully with the learning materials, workshops, and tutor support provided throughout the programme. I acknowledge that my acceptance onto the programme, and continued access to learning resources, is dependent upon maintaining prompt payment of the agreed course fees.
4. Course Fees and Payment Plans
The course fee represents the total cost of the qualification. Where a monthly payment plan is agreed, this payment plan is provided solely as a method of spreading the cost of the full course fee and does not represent payment per module, workshop, or level of participation.
By enrolling on the programme, I agree to pay the full course fee. Withdrawal, non-attendance, or failure to complete the qualification does not cancel my obligation to pay any outstanding balance.
Course fees are non-refundable once enrolment has been confirmed and access to course materials, workshops, or learning support has been provided.
Failure to maintain payments in accordance with the agreed payment schedule may result in suspension or removal from the programme. Where payments are overdue, The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma reserves the right to revoke access to the learning platform, workshops, and tutor support until payments are brought up to date.
I accept and acknowledge that the decisions of the Directors of The Centre of Excellence in Child Trauma regarding payment arrangements and course access are final.
5. Cooling-Off Period and Immediate Access to Digital Content
I acknowledge that the programme includes immediate access to digital learning materials, workshops, and tutor support delivered through the online learning platform.
I expressly consent to receiving access to these digital services immediately upon enrolment. I understand that by accessing the course materials, learning platform, workshops, or tutor support, I waive my statutory 14-day cooling-off right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Payment Plan Acknowledgement and Waiver of Claims
By enrolling and clicking the “I Accept” checkbox on the payment page, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all Terms & Conditions and the Statement of Understanding. You cannot proceed to payment without checking this box.
I acknowledge that I am committing to the full course fee, and the monthly payment plan is provided solely as a method of spreading the cost of the qualification. I understand that withdrawal, non-attendance, or failure to complete the qualification does not cancel any outstanding balance. I agree that I will not make claims, request refunds, or initiate chargebacks for payments already made or scheduled in accordance with the agreed plan.
