The SAfE Parenting Qualification: Therapeutic Parenting Programme is a structured course designed for parents who are accessing edge-of-care services or who have been recommended, including through family court, to complete a parenting programme.
The course supports parents in developing a clearer understanding of their child’s emotional and behavioural needs, and in applying consistent, safe, and appropriate parenting approaches within the home.
Using a therapeutic and trauma-informed framework, the course provides practical strategies to support children’s emotional regulation, improve interactions, and promote more stable family relationships. It is designed to support parents in working towards agreed outcomes and contributing to safer and more stable home environments.
